Internationalization

PPGCEM promotes a series of actions aimed at consolidating and expanding research networks and increasing their international visibility. Among the main actions are: scientifc and technological cooperation; training of faculties and graduate students through internships abroad; attraction of graduates, young doctors and visiting researchers from abroad.

 

CAPES/PrInt

PPGCEM participates in the Institutional Program for Internationalization funded by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education (CAPES-PrInt). The main topics covered are: "Strategic Materials" and "Industry and Urban Revolution - Industry 4.0 and the Smart Cities".

CAPES/Fulbright

PPGCEM supports the Undergraduate Course in Materials Engineering at UFSCar in the Brazil - United States Program for Modernization of Undergraduate Education (PMG), sponsored by Brazilian Funding Agency CAPES and Fulbright Commission. The US institutions participating in the UFSCar’s PMG are: University of Notre Dame, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Purdue University, University of Texas at Austin, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard University, Olin College, University of Pittsburgh, Rice University, Rutgers University, Carnegie Mellon University, University of California in Berkeley, Stanford University, New York University (NYU), Case Western University, University of Michigan e Colorado School of Mines.


Dual Degree PhD Program

PPGCEM has a joint Dual Degree 4-year PhD Graduate Program in Polymer and Colloid Science and Engineering with the Case Western Reserve University (CWRU), USA, funded by CAPES.
