Student from PPGCEM stands out in the 1st Innovation and Entrepreneurship Workshop of the 17th Brazilian Polymer Congress

The PhD candidate Marcos Vinícius Batista Nicolino, under the guidance of Professor Dr. Lidiane Cristina Costa, delivered a 3-minute pitch to a panel of 5 CEOs from technology companies, being selected as the best presentation. During the pitch, the student presented a conceptual startup developed by his team during the workshop.

          The PhD candidate Marcos Vinícius Batista Nicolino, under the guidance of Professor Dr. Lidiane Cristina Costa, delivered in the 1st Innovation and Entrepreneurship Workshop of the 17th Brazilian Polymer Congress, a 3-minute pitch to a panel of 5 CEOs from technology companies, being selected as the best presentation. During the pitch, the student presented a conceptual startup developed by his team during the workshop.

            Participating researchers were divided into teams of 4 to 5 people and received guidance on constructing a Business Model Canvas focused on technology companies (deeptechs). Subsequently, the teams developed a 3-minute pitch presenting a potential startup to a panel of 5 CEOs from technology companies. PhD candidate Marcos Vinícius Batista Nicolino presented his team's pitch, which was considered the best by the judges. The team included Prof. Dr. Juan Roa from the Federal University of Vales do Jequitinhonha and Mucuri, doctoral student Thaiane Nolasco from the State University of Rio de Janeiro, and master's student Annete from the University of São Paulo, São Carlos campus. As a prize, each member received a book and mentoring provided by Escalab's director, Fabiano Ferreira, with guidance on developing ongoing research into a technological product.
