The 27th edition of the newspaper A Matéria features an article with interviews with PGCEM graduate students in which topics such as academic life, challenges, and advice for those who want to pursue the world of research are addressed. In this article, the relationship between graduate students and the PPGCEM, which since 1979 has been synonymous with excellence in teaching and training of masters and PhDs, is presented from different perspectives.

Since 1979, PPGCEM has been synonymous with excellence in teaching and training of masters and PhDs. Over these nearly five decades of history, the PPGCEM collects not only successful academic trajectories, but also stories of many graduate students who, year after year, in addition to learning from DEMa and PPGCEM, also leave much of themselves during their journeys.
