DEMa/PPGCEM professor receives "Materials Today Rising Star Award"

Professor Caio Gomide Otoni, from DEMa/PPGCEM, was one of the winners of the "Materials Today Rising Star Award", given to six researchers from three different fields of research on Materials Science and Engineering ("Energy conversion and storage", "Data science and artificial intelligence" and "Biomaterials"). Otoni was the only winner from the Southern Hemisphere, the others being based at universities in the USA and Germany. The award ceremony took place during the Materials Today Conference, held between August 2 and 5 in Singapore.
