Best Paper presented at the 65-66 Brazilian Ceramic Congress

The paper “Use of chelating agents to adjust the drying behavior of refractory castables containing hydraulic binders”, authored by Breno P. Bezerra (PhD student at PPGCEM-UFSCar), Igor M. Milanezzi (undergraduate at DEMa), Prof. Victor C. Pandolfelli and Prof. Ana Paula da Luz, was awarded the Best Paper presented at the 65-66th Brazilian Ceramic Congress.

The Brazilian Ceramic Congress (CBC) is the most important event in the field in Brazil, which aims to promote the interaction of the various segments involved with ceramics, contributing to a greater development of Brazilian ceramics and its dissemination. This year, the 65th-66th edition of this
event was held in Águas de Lindóia, São Paulo, from June 6th to 9th, with the participation of several students and researchers from DEMa and PPGCEM, with presentations of scientific works in the form of plenary lectures, featured lecture, oral presentations and poster presentations, in addition to participation in the scientific committee. The paper “Use of chelating agents to adjust the drying behavior of refractory castables containing hydraulic binders”, authored by Breno P. Bezerra (PhD student at PPGCEM-UFSCar), Igor M. Milanezzi (undergraduate at DEMa), Prof. Victor C. Pandolfelli (PPGCEM-UFSCar) and Profa. Ana Paula da Luz (PPGCEM-UFSCar), was awarded the Best Paper presented at 65-66th CBC. The award-winning study was presented by Prof. Ana Paula and the results presented are part of the master's project of the student Breno P. Bezerra, which was carried out together with the PPGCEM with the joint guidance of Prof. Victor C. Pandolfelli and Prof. Ana Paula da Luz.
